There is no clear idea of Shirdi Sai baba. It seems he was the son of a Bhramin parents who have left him in a forest as an infant baby. He was taken care of by a Muslim and he brought him up. Later he came to a pious telugu person from whom Sai baba attained his power and after the demise of this person he moved and reached Shirdi, a small village in maharashtra. The villagers there took care of him, especially a lady who used to feed him like her own son. He stayed there in a temple.

But Sai Baba has a practise of saying "Allah Malik" ( Allah the master) which made some Hindus angry and they asked him to move away. So Sai baba went and lived in a dilapidated mosque where he stayed till his samadhi.

He did lot of miracles and cured many. People thronged him and took benefits from his prasad which was the ash from the fire which was burning always in his mosque. This ash had miraculous powers and cured many.

The place where he lived and places visited have been developed into a town and even today millions of people visit and have darshan of his samadhi.

He said that he will speak from his samadhi and help his devotees who have faith in him.

Sai Ram.
