I had to end it. She saw it also, but she didn't want to let me go. Never let anyone tell you that someone can't be "too compatible" with you. Trust me, they can. My last girlfriend and I had EVERYTHING in common, from what we ate to what we liked to do. There was barely any romance in it. We always acted like friends. Never hugging. Never kissing. Never even holding hands. We both knew it wasn't going to work, but I could tell she wouldn't end it, so I had to. It ended well...not at first. She was distraught, and I felt so guilty. But after a while, we talked. She's now the best friend I've got in this world. One of the very few happy endings in my life.

my last relationship was very complicated.. there was a third party involved.. it's as if i have to choose between the man i love but only loves me as a friend or to the man who really loves me which was my boyfriend.. i break up with him because i don't wanna fool my self and everybody. it's actually a very long story so i won't discuss it more.. so to answer your questions, the reason why my last relationship failed was because of the lost of love to my partner.. and yes it's me who break up with him..

Because it was at the end of my final year of high school...she wanted to stay at home and I was heading interstate to follow up my career choice - so we mutually broke it off, realising it'd just be too difficult.

I'm the one who break it off, not him...
Because, I realised that he doesn't really love me. If I ever wanted a boyfriend/lover, I must make sure he truly loves me...
Besides, we started this relationship in the first place simply because he was too clever to be able to coax me.

I broke it off, after 3 years....greed and outside interference from his grown daughter influenced the outcome of my decision to leave. The dude loved the almighty dollar more than he did me in essence.I tried my very best to get along with his daughter, but she was set on hating me from day one.She obviously needed him more than I did.
