i saw numerous bunnies and all those bunny-related stuff crowding up their home! its almost like the video made by 'Ripley's believe it or not' about a couple who is SO obsessed about rabbits that they started a tour attraction to their little home crammed full of bunny stuff! not that i dun like bunnies anyway...:D

Hi Lois,
in 1975 I went to Belize (British Honduras, then) and to the home of a guy we only ever knew as Charlie...
He introduced us to his wife and daughters outside and invited us into his home, then...well then he grabbed us violently and dragged us back out!
The reason...? He had spotted a snake coiled on the floor! It was, he said, one of the most dangerous snakes in the world, as it was one of the few that are aggressive. He told us it was a 'Ptarmiger' (I really don't know the spelling, and I haven't been able to find anything that resembles it on the net) it was quite small (about 18" long) and brightly coloured in reds and yellows and black.
He grabbed a couple of machetes and asked me in to help kill it...after his description I wasn't too keen, but felt we wouldn't get the offered dinner if we didn't get rid of the snake!
It was very unusual to see Charlie nervous (and did nothing for my confidence!) as normally he was quite fearless about the wildlife but we went in and as I (foolishly) attempted to distract the beastie he neatly sliced its head off.
He told us later that this particular variety of snake can jump up to around 10' and is very poisonous indeed...most people bitten die.
So...giant Elvises would be welcome!
Cheers,
BobSpain

My dad sold a car to somebody who had something very unique in their front yard, so it wasn't quite in their home, but it was certified by Guiness to be the worlds largest statue of Elvis Presley.
