I'll give you an example. A ladder to what cloning.
1. People don't like cousin marriages since there are many diseases and ailments for the off spring.
2. If lions in the wild start to mate with their siblings, that pride in that area will cease to be in the near future.
3. The success rate of cloning for dolly the sheep was 1 successful lamb from 277 embryo cells. Less than one half of a percent success rate. Even the potential 1 in 7 success rate is still 6 miscarriages and one possible infant.
You will find in many scriptures that when it was necessary for humans to mate with close relatives, it was allowed. You will even hear some say that Eve was a clone of Adam. But animals do not mate with their siblings when there are potential partners - of those outside their close family - available to them.
Human cloning is not needed, especially for medical treatment, when most diseases and ailments are related to increased toxins in the body.

We have to remember that God is all powerful and all knowing. There is nothing that can actually be hidden from him. He is not even confined by time. Therefore he knew ahead of time that we would start cloning. Although he loves us enough to give us free will, would he really allow us to "create" human beings, like in a laboratory? I seriously think not. In fact, doesn't God give us sex for that purpose? Then there is the subject of our soul. Does a clone have a soul? Somehow I think not. Here is something for parents to think about. Would you let your child play with a hot iron? You would not. You would instigate rules for their safety, and sometimes becasuse it is just plain wrong. I am doubtful that God would really let us actually create a human clone. The only circumstances that I can see that happening is after His Son (Jesus) has returned and judged the whole world. After that event I presume he will let us do as we like - because it is too late!

if god is real, which i am not sure of, then if he dislikes cloning, he is a hipocrite (or however u spell it). i think it sed in the bible 'god made man in his own image'. we would now call that cloning. so if he dislikes cloning, he has no comment on the subject, so it should not be against god to clone human beings, as we are only following gods example.

That depends on your faith's viewpoint.
As a child I was brought up in the Christian faith and taught that God created people in his (her?) own image. If people are truly created as an image of their own creator it is also possible that they possess the creative element of God, surely.
In later years, although not subscribing actively to any faith, I have chosen to live by Buddhist philosophies as they matchmy views on life and death more appropriately.
As a result of this, I do not see the problem of creating new lives as I believe all living creatures to have the right to live but I do also believe that safeguards have to be put in place for the protection of clones and the people creating them so that as little damage is done to everybody as is possible.

If a species won't be able to stay to tell the story without an exterior intervention (like cloning physique areas) then, in accordance to organic determination, they should not be allowed to stay to tell the story. permit's recover from ourselves and merely die with some dignity whilst it extremely is our time- we are actually not that substantial that we ought to alter human nature, God's will, etc., in order that which you will stay a splash longer to verify right here few seasons of The Hills or Dancing with the celebrities or despite.

Well.. If you think about it. God left us here so we can, technically, do anything we want. So if your asking if God would be mad at us if we cloned you can't be to sure about it. Then again there might not even be a God.

I think humour and levity are a gift to be shared. There's nothing wrong with wearing baggy pants, a red nose and squirting flowers in your lapel.... ....... oh, human CLONING...
I'd say the same argument applies. It's just that instead of wearing it, you could probably have it in your DNA.
Peace

I don't think it is against G-d. I think it is against human dignity.
Oh it seems without religion, Man is alienated contrary to Marxist principles. It has demoted Man to somewhat like an irrational beast.

frankly I dont give a damn if it is 'against god' - I dont believe in god, and frankly i think religion is the singlest biggest thing that keeps human beings in the god awful state a lot of us our in.
We are rational beings, and religion is abstract - As humans we attempt to rationalise this abstract entity and this is what causes all the problems....
