Umm.....are you refering to neo-con? If so...I am sorry to tell you that that is more a republican ideal, and more so like fascist Germany then anything else.

In any case. Both parties are controlled. The right left paradigm is a mask for what is really going on behind the scenes. It's called divide and conquere. Look it up it's quite interesting.

No, it's not a mask. It's part of their agenda.

But Socialism is not the same as Communism, so your label is inappropriate. Socialism is govt regulation of industry and/or govt control over social services. Communism bars all private property ownership.

While they are in the same direction, it's like the difference between punching someone in the face and shooting them in the face -- not the same thing.

That's the problem with the Democratic party, and why it's not really liberal anymore. The liberal economic philosophy is laissez-faire -- self-regulating markets with little govt interference. The Democrats do not practice liberalism any more.

The biggest lie you people are telling yourselves is that your party is for 'smaller government', this, in the face of decades of facts is laughable,
all that your party has been successful at achieving is convincing it's sheepish followers that government/social services are bad and can't solve your problems, while behind the scenes creating an ever increasing government infrastructure, not only on the mainland US, but using tax money to fund CIA coups and secret battles abroad (in the process killing unknown thousands of civilians) for decades.

I wish you could provide proof of this "modern Socialist movement". I think it is all manufactured in your head. Our Government has always regulated Capitalism, in fact, Capitalism needs to be regulated, otherwise you have Corporations who run amok and form monopolies which in fact squelch competition and ultimately destroy Capitalism.

I do not see Spain (Socialist government) going down hill since a socialist government was elected.

In the UK, since the current socialist government has been elected, the UK has gone through the longest period of time with a continually growing economy in modern history. (You may have heard of Tony Blair, our old socialist prime minister, and Gordon Brown, our current one.)

Look in Europe, you will see socialism working for the people.
