I have tried some after market part markers with no luck and my local salvage yards don't have anything close

I had the same problem with a 81 Limited. I searched and searched. I wound up going to a Buick dealer and ordered one. It was really expensive, and not only that it wasn't even our fault. Someone backed into the car in a parking lot.
PS. We also had the chrome strip that went across the back of the car and fit over the lens.
