People thought the same thing was going to happen to Kobe after the rape allegations in CO. It took some time but the money and endorsements came back (as did his jersey sales). Nike is playing their cards correctly by waiting to see what happens before they drop him, they have alot invested in him and it's just not a good business decision to let him go right now. Adidas is probably still kicking themselves for dropping Kobe so quickly.

Well, his rep wasn't that great before and now it's in the toilet. His rep will NEVER recover even if he is found not guilty. He is guilty in the eyes of the public. Just look at OJ.

This will definatly sour his reputation even if he is not guilty becuase it is a big story but if he isn't guilty i don't see any reason why he wouldn't still be connected to the NFL.

Even if he's found not guilty and he donates all his salary to children with dissabilities, his rep will never be saved.
