I hate it when the carrier throws the paper at the house so that the paper hits the door and scares the devil out of me.
Wouldn't it be nice to just be able to open the front door and the paper is within reach?

the person who delivers my papers is a very emotional and not very stable person.how so?when he has family problems ,work related or anything that he finds as a problem...then nearly everybody has to get out and get our papers either somewhere in the pool ,on the roof ,near the thrash can ,at our neighbours and the worst...when he puts it at the end of the junction of the street where i live...it would be like a community meeting of sorts except that we are just there to pick up the papers...for the record...i buy my own now

Well it's time consuming & there are a lot of deliveries would be hard for the carrier to put it on the door steps of each houses.
Scary if there's dog/pets/security alarms.
Some carries, puts the newspaper in the "extra large postbox" but you would hv to walk a distant.

no our news paper carrier did such a poor job with our papers that each time it rain our paper got wet they just throws it in a corner closed to the road buy the way we quit.ordering the papers because sometimes our paper will disappear from our yard and it even end up in someone else yard.

Yep, the door of my car, the door of the doghouse, the door of the chicken coop, the neighbor's door; just not the house door. My uncle needs to work on that.

...well you are lucky...at least they get it close to your door....ours...throws it by the driveway...and that's on a good day...somedays it ends up in the grass....or on a rainy day...they often don't double wrap it and it is all soggy....
...even though they sometimes will bring a replacement paper...of course the days it rains....can't reach them on the phone....
....well...for most days at least they do deliver the paper....

No, but my golden retriever takes care of it.
Believe me, there is nothing like sitting in a comfortable chair and having your trusty dog bring you the paper with his tail wagging.

in india we do not have the system of news paper being thrown, they leave it on the door step of the apartment.

no but our house is on a huge hill so they usually throw it at the base.
