For the record I'm not related to the famous Sandstorm, but I'm living a lifestyle that would make him proud.

My fiancé makes a fairly comfortable living. The kids are grown and gone, so I don't "stay home" for them. I am what I describe as a 1950's housewife. I love nothing more than sewing a button on his shirt, folding his socks, hanging up his work clothes, and rubbing his feet at the end of the day. He in turn provides for me. Whatever I need or want I have only to ask for. And in my opinion he deserves the pampering because he's been putting in an awful lot of overtime lately. Yet there are those who would say I'm a disgrace to the modern woman because I am in a subservient role. Mind you, if anyone told me that this is the lifestyle I *have* to lead, because I am a woman, I'd be first to tell them where they can go. But am I so wrong to love it and be this way by choice?

The whole point of feminism to my mind is that a woman should be able to choose exactly what she wants to do. So if staying at home is what you want, then go right ahead. As long as you're doing it for yourself and no one else.

I am a mother of seven daughters, I stayed home with them and only until a couple of years ago, when my youngest was school age, did I start working again. (I am a teacher, so i do have my summers w/them which is priceless) I have been struggling w/that ever since and wondering if that was a good idea. They are all in school at this time but just because they are in school doesn't mean that all the responsibility just disappears, laundry, grocery shopping, running errands etc, etc etc is never ending.

No, I don't think that there is anything wrong w/what you are doing. Society, thinks they are moving forward but I think everything is moving backwards. Parents seem to care more about making money then spending time w/their family and it shows overall in the way society is going downhill. Everyone is too materialistic and it shows in so many different ways.

Don't feel guilty for what you enjoy doing. Do what YOU want to do and screw what society and people in your life think. I think it is great and it sounds that you two have a great relationship. Only change if that is what YOU want.

It is all about what makes you happy. You seem to be in a mutually fulfilling relationship and that is what is important. Do not let society or friends define your standard of living or loving. As long as you are not being physically abused or degraded and you have the freedom to make your own decisions in this relationship, you should feel elated that you are able to live such a lifestyle.

You are not wrong. But then I am an old fashioned guy (still believe in opening doors for ladies) and my views are perhaps a bit outdated. However all in all I believe you have the right to live that way as long as you and your fiancee are both comfortable with the arrangement. If you either one have issues with it that you have not resolved I suggest you seek out a competent counselor.

A lot of women these days do think keeping a house clean, cooking, and doing things for their man is beneath them but the real reason is they are too lazy and selfish to do these things.

You only have to see how many of them are willing to let the guy speak down to them and treat them like crap. Sounds to me you are both very much in love and both like to do things for the other, so therefore the relationship is equal. Nothing wrong with treating each other like a king and queen.

Making your own choices and decisions is the definition of the modern woman. I think the world would be a better place with more relationships like yours.

I would say that although you seem to very content with your lifestyle choice and if that's the case all when and good but in the bottom of my heart I would say you should maybe do something you always wanted and treat yourself from time to time.

its your life and you have to live it the best way that makes you happiest. If licking his toes and rubbing his feet makes you happy then keep on doing it. There is nothing wrong with pampering your man.

the best trading software http://tradingsolution.info
i have attended a lot of seminars, read counless books on forex trading and it all cost me thousands of dollars. the worst thing was i blew up my first account. after that i opened another account and the same thing happened again. i started to wonder why i couldn,t make any money in forex trading. at first i thought i knew everything about trading. finally i found that the main problem i have was i did not have the right mental in trading. as we know that psychology has great impact on our trading result. apart from psychology issue, there is another problem that we have to address. they are money management, market analysis, and entry/exit rules. to me money management is important in trading. i opened another account and start to trade profitably after i learnt from my past mistake. i don't trade emotionally anymore.
if you are serious about trading you need to address your weakness and try to fix it. no forex guru can make you Professional trader unless you want to learn from your mistake.

There's nothing wrong with pampering your man. If he is good to you then why not? It's rewarding for you, I'm sure. No one's opinion matters as long as you two are happy.
