Berth no 14 is a top berth in the coupe section, whilst 17 is bottom berth in the aisle. Request fellow passengers for a change.

While Seat Nos. 14 and 17 are not adjacent, thesewill be in the same location.

You can always request the passenger in SZeat No.13, 15, 16 or 18 for a change in the seat

HA1 seats are arranged as 4 seat in a coupe.
Therefore groups would be 1 to 4, 5 to 8, 9 to 12, 13 to 16, 17 to 20 etc.
So most likely you two have different coupes. You would require to request co passengers and/or TTE for mutual adjustment.

since your traveling with your hubby you should not find it difficult to sit togeth as the seat's will be 14-15,16-17 so you will be in the same sect of the compartment.
you can always ask the person in the seat next to you to move to the seat your aloted if you dont like where it is ok.good luck honey.

Well you could always ask your fellow passengers when you board the train to switch seats by explainning the situation or else you can even approach the "TTE"(Train Ticket Examiner) for help.
