Do we really have any genuine quick bowler in India coming up? All these new bowlers like Ishant Sharma etc are not really quick. Munaf Patel and VRV Singh were supposed to be really quick but later they have reduced their pace. Dont you agree that its high time we need to produce some really quick bowler like Shoaib Akthar or Brett Lee..

i dont think vrv is good enough to be included in the team
i mean if we had 2 really good fast bowlers then he could have been included in the 11 and groomed but the quality of the indian pace attack leaves a lot to be desired
btw i dont think we have any genuine pace bowlers in domestic cricket right now

No we don't have tearaway fast bowlers in our domestic circuit. But coming to your point for need of such fast bowlers, how many matches have Brett Lee and Shoaib Akthar won with their tear away fast bowling as compared to a Glen Macgrath ,Chaminda vaas,Wasim akram or Shaun pollack.
Having pace is good but line length, swing is more important in getting wickets.

I do not think that bowling fast is not going to help any team if the bowler does not keep his line and length and generate good amount of swing and pace. What is actually required for a lethal and match winning bowler is not the speed, but the accuracy and ability create pace and swing the ball.

No I don't think we have any fast bowler in domestic cricket currently who has the potential to play at the international level. Anyways VRV Singh was a big flop!

There is a bowler from Jammu and Kashmir. He was supposedly so quick that he was requested by the Indian Team management to have a nets session. He has bowled to Batsmen like VVS Laxman etc. His name is Abid Nabi. He routinely turns out for J and K.

I don't think that Indian bowlers need that much pace.. it's all about accuracy..look at Glen McGrath.....infact some of the better successful bowlers of India were medium pacers..just look at Zaheer Khan recently...

focus and constantly have the attention on the ball. Hit in undemanding terms the balls you could hit or you will omit it or would be edged and caught in the back of. constantly be arranged to stand a yorker or block hollow. constantly attempt to hit pull pictures to length deliveries. some speedy bowlers get swing so pay attention. If the ball overpiched attempt to do the rapidlypersistent because of the fact it somewhat is a secure shot. it somewhat is nice to flick the balls which come to you(In swing). under no circumstances be sacred ,play with finished self assurance. desire this helped you!!! those are the failings you will possibly desire to do against speedy bowlers.

The fastest bowler we have is Munaf Patel, but he is perennially injured. When he is fit, he is awesome.
