My father is in his 60's and i would like to get him something for his B-day. Not just a gift but something more of a hobby that he can keep doing for years. Any Ideas?

Collecting old manuscripts, coins, baseball cards, something he can collect would make a great hobby. He can't really go and pick up tennis or anything like that... so yeah, get him something he can start collecting.

Painting, the 60's was big on art and it was mostly surreal/psychadelic art so you don't really have to be a excellent portrait artist, he can just go with whatever.

I bought my dad a computer a few years ago to get him into the internet. Now he has his own laptop and likes to download music and movies and surf the web. He even met his girlfriend there and now he knows more about computers then I do.

Golf clubs and lessons.
Gym membership and work out clothes.

Tell your Dad you love him and want him around a long time, and if health permits, exercise and activity is a great way to stay fit and healthy.

Happy Birthday to your Dad.
