You will have to go back to the Saloon for root touch ups, maybe every month. Naturally the roots will come out dark brown as you have brown hair. There is no other easy solution to your problem, so accept it and keep going back to the Saloon or just let your hair grow out and have your natural dark brown colour. You could always streak your hair in blond colour that would look good as well as solve the roots coming out in another shade!

go to a salone and they can take care of it. My personal advice is if you have really dark brown hair then don't get too blonde because your always going to have to dye your hair again after only 3 weeks at most. So try going for a little darker blonde that won't show off your roots too much. Thats what I did!
Good Luck! ;D

Hi sweetandcute, what you are experiencing is called "regrowth." It's the new growth of hair that is about one half inch each month. If you are having your hair tinted, you will need to retouch the new growth -which are not the roots because the roots remain under the scalp- with the same color used for the original coloring job.

they make root touchup kits. If you can't find one of those, you just buy the same dye and only do the roots. If you aren't so sure, maybe you should go to a salon and have them do your roots.

learn to love those roots, because when they're about1-2 inches, it'll look hot and sexy, think Shakira.
