Paris has the best buffet in Vegas. They even have their own pastry chef. It is about $30USD for dinner. I have never had breakfast there since I have usually eaten breakfast at the Flamingo. The Flamingo has a great breakfast buffet. I have eaten buffet at Circus Circus and Excalibur - they were not very good but you can tell by the price - low prices = low quality buffet.

The only problem I have with the LVA's rating system is that it's based on years(sometimes). Buffets can and do change a great deal in that length of time.

These are price no option "best"
Best Breakfast buffet - Paris
Best Dinner buffet - Bellagio
Best Sunday brunch - Sterling Brunch Bally's

The Mirage is a very nice buffet

For about 1/2 the price of the Sterling Brunch at Bally's you can have brunch at Circus Circus. You have to have reservations for this one, brunch is served in their very nice steakhouse.

Some options for you, in case you change your mind.

Far and away the best "value" buffets are away from the strip
Main Street Station - L,D
Boulder Station - B,L,D
Orleans - L,D
Palace Station - B,L,D
Fiesta Henderson - L
LV Hilton - D
Fremont - Seafood Sun/Tue/Fri

A little further from the strip but well worth the drive
Green Valley Ranch
Red Rock
Rampart

Paris Hotel on the strip is the most reasonably priced, top notch hotel. It's location is perfect. Center Strip. It is easy to get to everywhere from there. My favorite buffet (and I generally loathe buffets) is the Bellagio seafood buffet. It's a little pricey at about $35 but you are getting a meal worthy of most 4 star restaurants. Save room for dessert.

It depends on your budget, top end you have the Belaggio or Wynns down but most are at least of a decent standard and you can get a good deal on special offer at some of the best. I have stayed in several with no complaints from me. As for the best buffets get a current guide to the strip and check out the deals available.

I'm not sure about the buffets, but I liked Mandalay Bay the best.

Stay at the Flamingo. Do not stay at the Circus Circus, unless you like the feel of Best Westerns... if you really wanted to see the circus acts, which aren't that cool, you can just walk there. Stay at the Flamingo.
