Once I was listening to this monk talk about friendships. He told me and a group of people that there are 4 types of friends.
First, is the flower friend. The flower is pretty and you would want it but when it wilts you throw it away. This is a type of friend you use and once you`re done with them, you ignore them or don`t talk to them again.
Second, there is there seasaw friend. You give them a present, they give a present back to you. You talk smack about them, they talk smack about you.
Third, there is the mountain friend who is always there whenever you need them. They give you advice and support your ideas.
Lastly there is the ground friend. Like the ground, if you decide to p!ss on it, it would not complain but take it and turn that into food for plants. This friend helps you grow into a better person and even if you act malicious towards them, they would still be there.
Flower Friend = Once time friend
Seasaw Friend = Friend
Mountain Friend = Close Friend
Ground Friend = Best Friend

Just ask urself r they there in times of trouble of pain, in situations of distress and anguish. Do they advise u so that u get better or just 4 their satisfaction. Can u talk ur heart out to them. And once u get these answers u will know their measure of friendship.

You see who your true good friends are when you're having a bad time or are in a crisis. Good friends are the ones that stick around when the going gets rough....and they stay until things are sort out again.

By whether the person only wants to be there in good times or if they are are there for you in need too.

v can nvr measure frndshp wid time........bt it can b measured by d trust v hve in our frnds....d moments wen dey hve shared our joys n tears....n vice-versa,.....friendship iz a true gift wich can nvr me measured....bt is a promise spoken only by d heart.....

take a measuring cup...wash it, then wipe it, then pour your friendship into that cup but slowly...be care full
