Life would come to a standstill if you were to adopt most of the suggestions offered you here. The simplest and most sensible way is to learn from nature which is always recycling co2 by the process of photosynthesis. Since we humans cannot directly imitate this process, we can at least assist nature to do it for us by engaging in massive AFFORESTATION projects all over the world. The world is losing vegetative cover at an alarming rate at the same time as we are producing extra co2 by burning of fossil fuels and other human activities. We could compensate largely for this by planting more trees and even go further to convert deserts into forests. The Sahara desert, for example, is fast taking over the northern part of the African Continent and timelt action is needed to avert this looming danger.

1) Use lower watt light bulbs
2) simply shut off your lights and TV's when not using them
3) Get carpooling with friends
4) Drive smaller, more gas efficient cars
5)Buy local products in the supermarket to conserve on shipping
6) Try using solar/wind power on some things like lights.
7) Go to your local senator and pressure them to start using more alternative enerrgies.
