College is right around the corner for me and lately I've been having a lot of trouble with my friends. My best friend has been getting in moods lately, mostly because she will be commuting and I'll be over six hours away from home. She lately has been keeping things from me when it used to always be we would tell each other everything. Even worse, she has been confiding in other mutual friends for her problems, which in return makes me a bit jealous of them, causing tension between us other friends. Along with that, I'm the type of person whom has trouble telling things to even my closest friends, so when i do get upset about things like that, i don't normally talk about them. I tell her she can tell me anything and she knows this, yet recently she has been keeping things from me. I try talking but it doesn't make much difference. What should i do? I want to make sure that when i do leave, it's on good terms, if not better than ever.

let your best friend know how you are feeling. I think that she is mentally preparing herself for the end of your close friendship. let her know that even though you will be six hours away you are only a phone call away...you can still be best friends. when you leave for college talk to her on the phone all the time and set up a visiting schedule. don't let your close friendship fall apart. work hard to stay best friends!!!

She is upset that you are leaving, but realizes that you have to go. It is normal. So many new things will happen when you get to college, it is probably better that you not have a gf waiting at home. Your studies will take longer, and everything will be so exciting that you may not want to have a gf right away!! College opens up a new world!!

YOu don't have to say good bye.. Just keep contact with her with like aim/ msn/ myspace/ phone/ webcam... all those things still get you gus connected. So don't feel bad if she leaving for school. not like she leaves for good. She will come back to visit you when she on her breaks. So dont worries.

itz better you ask her what are the problems rather than you keep it to urself and have problems. if u tell her both of you wud feel better and realise the problem.and you won't get bothered anymore
