No.

Women, generally have luteal phase of 12-14 days, and really no shorter than 10 days. This is the time between ovulation and menstruation. The egg dies about twenty-four hours after ovulation, and though sperm can stay in the body for up to 5 days (and this is in ideal conditions, and at this point, the chances of conception have significantly decreased, anyway) it is absolutely untrue that conception can occur at "any point in a woman's cycle." The day before a woman's supposed period is LONG after the egg has already died, anyway, and the shelf-life of sperm is sort of irrelevant to this question anyway.

HOWEVER!!!!

How well can a girl really predict her period anyway? Irregular periods can start at any point, and therefore she could very well be mistaken in informing you that her period is supposed to come tomorrow. There's really no way of knowing beforehand if a girl will have a late period unless she keeps track of her cycle through methods like basal body temperature charting.

The only way a girl ever got pregnant the day before her period was when she was actually (and unknowingly) two weeks before her period but didn't realize her clock was running a little late.

Technically yes. A girl can get pregnant at any point during her cycle. Sperm can live up to a week in a womans body.
Don't assume that she isn't ovulating. Some women actually ovulate while they have their period.
If you don't want a baby, it would be best for you to stay safe and use a condom.

Yes, but then if she does have the period the next day, she almost definitely won't be pregnant.

As long as sperm enters the vagina you CAN get pregnant at ANY time of the month.
