a guys car was stuck on a busy road, so i pulled up behind me and pushed it to the next side street out of the way.
he argued and said it was to heavy, i said give it a go.
after i helped the truck yelled abuse at me and i had everyone looking at me like i did something wrong.
is it a strange thing to help someone these days.
i found it strange that a man didnt help. i am a 22 year old female. where have all the people with good hearts gone?

I have the same problem with men... but two people regardless of sex should be able to help if one is willing to...

I probably would have too... but as far as the abuse goes... I would have told him off....

I guess I'm old school. I always stop and help. Can't say I've ever had anybody curse me for helping either. I live in the South, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

I've also needed help, and it bugged me when so many people drove by and didn't stop. Just so happened that I was spotted by a wrecker driver going the other way on the Interstate, he turned around and towed me to a gargage.

These days you are safer to let strangers take care of their own problems. It could have been a trap to get a young lady to stop and BAD THINGS could have happened to you. Best to live, learn and not do it again. There are people with good hearts. The problem is you don't know about people until its too late .

i fear breaking down on the road. not because i cant fix the problem, but becase someone might like my car as much as i do... and have a weapon. i agree with above, you especially should never stop to help anyone. it sounds terrible, but its safe.

there are people impersinating police officers pulling young girls over, like you, and rape/kill the victim. not trying to scare you, but it happens. there is a way to combat this, by dialing 611 (in texas). 611 is the police dispatch #. if you are ever being pulled over, and fear the worst, dial 611 to verify the police officer is legit, before you stop.

there are good hearted people out there. i think life is about carefully finding the ones with good hearts.

I have before and will continue to help people who are broken down. If someone got all pissed for helping them, I would just say "You're welcome, and f uck you!"

help, advice or give your opinion to people ONLY WHEN THEY ASK FOR IT, its better that way, no one can hurt your feeling if you do that and when they do ask for it you ll be appreciated and they ll thank you .
