Mine is manipulative and deviant. She only hears what she wants to and she always tries to do everything her way. I'm thinking of putting an Annoyance Clause in our prenuptial agreement, stating that neither of our mothers are allowed to visit us.

Do it and your goose is cooked .Remember,apart from being a mother[in law],she could turn out to be a mother[of law] and your so called Annoyance Clause may turn out to be an ALLOWANCE CLAUSE.Think again.

That is an awesome idea, I wish I would have thought of it! My husband warned me about his mother being decieteful and selfish and i never listened. Now I am regretting not heeding his warning and eating a lot of crow for all the high and mighty things I said before I realized what an absolute witch she was!

Nope I don't like my mother in law. She talks bad about me & encourages her son not to help me w/ the kids saying thats a womans job you should go party with your friends. She doesn't even buy our kids presents for their birthdays. My thoughts on her rotten mother & rotten mother in law & rotten grandma.

I will answer in light of my cousin and her mother in law. THE mother in law is tacky, selfish and doesn't put her kids or grandchildren first. she asks for money from her kids and never pays back.

my mom-in-law is really sweet, but my dad-in-law is exactly like what u have described bout your mom-in-law....In our country we anyways don't have any pre-nup agreement, but even if we did so, i wud never have had that clause......coz it wud hurt me if my kids ever did that to me......Just let them be what they wanna be and give a deaf ear....they'll gradually understand and tone down.

no. most mother in laws are mean. and did u know that if u rearrange mother in law, u can spell out "Woman Hitler". coincidence? i think not.
