That's about how long it takes to print out a form rejection letter. Keep us informed.

At this rate all you can do is wait until that publishing company's verdict comes out. I hope you're into movie-watching and TV-surfing because you'll need something to do while waiting.
OR you can also send your manuscript copy (or a CD version of it) to a trustworthy self-publishing company who can be your best guide to having your book ready for distribution in as early as three months' time. There are lots of good self-publishing companies out there, but Xlibris stands out in terms of the quality of the books that they print. Their affiliation with bigtime publisher Randomhouse makes them a cut above the rest.
You may want to see more about Xlibris, so just try clicking on this link:

I also suggest that before you send out your manuscript to any type of publishing company, make sure that it's free of any typos, as well as grammar and spelling boo-boos. That will lessen the chances of people having a good laugh over your manuscript.

They are probably keeping it for two weeks to laugh at all the grammatical and spelling mistakes. But if you did submit a well put together document then you should expect probably more then two weeks if they are a reputable publisher. They have to read all the submissions they receive and yours may be on the bottom of the pile.
