You have all forgotten this day. You boast anti-war, and complain about the president, yet only 4 years ago everyone wanted to make them pay.
Well I guess because you all enjoy watching the television so much it has helped you forget all this. It has set you towards a goal of hating the president, and wanting to leave this war unfinished.
I know a lot of you reading this are saying, what is he talking about, I'm so insulted by what he is saying. Well good. Because when a nation can be controlled by a little box with pretty colors, well. It makes me sick. You all disappoint me. You go on with your lives, sleep, eat full meals. Some even more than full meals. (We all know American is the most unhealthy country.) While men and women are dieing. (Did you catch that? Dead.) For your wonderful little lives here. You don't think about this do you? The fact that the only reason this nation excites is because of war. And if you like it or not.

War keeps it safe. As much as I hate war as a person, I must say there is a time for it. Only the truly ignorant dreamers say the world can be with out war. The only way there won't be war is without the human race. And I'm sorry to the truly educated individual reading this that has actually formed a opinion themselves. Not just out of what the television wants of there opinion. This is ment to hit home to the fools who got brain washed by good old liberal television.

(Note: I am pretty liberal in my thinking so don't call me on that last one. I just don't like the fact that tv is so one side today. It's like people got nothing better to do)
READ A ******* BOOK!
My rant is over.

4 years? September 11th, 2001, correct??

No, I have not forgotten. I still want to make the correct person pay.

Saddam was not him. Iraq was not where we need to be. WMD's were non-existent. What has been done in Iraq has been this. There are more people now than ever that want to hurt us. No, who want us dead. That is what makes Iraq more of a danger to us now than before. You seem to forget that we supprted the leaders of both Iraq and Iran in the 80's as well as bin Laden.

bin Laden still is out there. He is still a threat. Period. He made us look ike fools. He still is.

As for Clinton. You seem to forget something else. The WTC was attacked one month into his administration, which tells me that attacks were being planned a heck of a lot earlier than Clinton. And if I remember correctly, we did catch and convict people that carried that out.

Am I insulted by what you are saying? Not really, why? Because you are talking out of your butt. And thankfully, do to the sacrafice of our men and women, you have the right to do so. Yes, I think about it everyday. Yes, I think about the family members that I have over there every minute of every day, who don't understand how Iraq was a threat and why they aren't going after bin Laden. But they stay because this is what they promised to do. That leaves me to work on trying to get them home safely.

"The fact that the only reason this nation excites is because of war."

Excites?? The word I beleive you are looking for is exists.

And no, that's not entirely new.

People decided that they didn't want taxation without representation. We fought for our own freedom. There wasn''t another country who came in and told us that we needed to be free and they were going to start us on our way.

This war in Iraq is wrong. What happened on 9/11/2001 was wrong. Two wrongs do not make right!
Iraq had absolutely NOTHING to do with 9/11. Even most Republicans admit that. And YES - there are young men and women dying - and for what?
Do you think that blindly supporting a senseless and immoral war will somehow justify the death of thousands? How has this war helped to stop the threat of terrorism around the world? The entire Western world is in more danger now than ever because of Bush and the US government.
Keep your guilt mongering and emotional blackmail to yourself.

i wasn't yelling for any iraq war, nor was any other liberal i know. they were yelling to go get the men responsible for 9/11, iraq had nothing to do with it.

"As much as I hate war as a person, I must say there is a time for it. Only the truly ignorant dreamers say the world can be with out war." -- you

oh really? you don't think we can be without this iraq war? tell me, do you honestly think we've helped the problem by killing innocent non terrorist civilians over there?? we've also given the terrorist leaders propaganda. look at the facts, before 9/11 and this iraq war we had maybe a terrorist plot maybe every five years. since then there have been numerous terrorist plots (madrid, miami, and 2 in england to name a few). is it just me, or have the terrorists STEPPED UP their efforts.

i'll admit, we needed WWII, but no. we don't 'need' this war.

I think only part of your post is incorrect, and that is the "all" part. I, for one, have certainly not forgotten and I think daily about our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. I tend to believe that news programs have their own agendas and the general public never gets the full story. I trust that there is a real good reason we are still in those places. I also believe it was the right thing to do. Am I disappointed that it's not going as well as we hoped? Of course, but not too many things ever do. I truly feel absolutely horrible every time I hear of a soldier dying or see the images of the vets in the hospitals. I agree with you that too many people have become complacent and also believe too much of what the news programs tell them. It's easier to hate the President than it is to admit to the truth, I guess. We cannot leave Afghanistan until we have Bin Laden and the Taliban is under control and we can't leave Iraq until it is stabilized.

Hooah! You really hit the nail on the head. It seems to be the fad now of hating the president and the war. The reason people forget this war so easily is because they dont have to fight it. Its only roughly 1% of America at war, fighting and dying. I am one of that percentage that is fighting back against those who seek our destruction. Bottom line, these civilians who dont pay attention, who dont really think about the world around them, will never get it, and will always forget why they sleep so peacefully in their beds. But we rough men (and women) will always stand ready.

Going to war in Iraq brought to a screeching halt the punishment of the people who had actually attacked us. Iraq had no involvement with 911 AND there was no al qaeda in Iraq before we invaded and occupied them.

I agree with you 100%. I'm so sick of these idiots whose brains are filled with such horsehockey that they are too dense to follow anything but what the Almight News says about this and that. Pathetic fools. And then, while they're sitting on their lazy butts horking down a corn dog, they complain about the war and about Bush. I just wish I could ship them all overseas and then see what we're doing over there. It angers me when I get on Politics to see all the fools on this site. So I better get off.

I haven't forgotten about it. But I do know this...

Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. That was Osama and Osama's people; not Iraq. Iraq did not threaten us. Iraq did not attack us. They did nothing, yet we still invaded.

These people are suffering in more ways than one. The people there are afraid to even walk outside because of car bombs. I know someone who recently came home from Iraq, and he said that the people there felt safer when Saddam was in power. What does that tell us???

I don't support the war because I don't think its about September 11. And I don't think it should be about revenge anyway. Should we kill more people to 'satisfy' our sadness over so many others?! That's not right...

Sure, I'm ALL in for getting rid of al-Qaeda. But they weren't in Iraq until we attacked.

The fact that you have forgotten is that if you choose to believe the White House propaganda of who did this ......even in their explaination.......Al Qaeda is responsible for 9/11 and at the time they were in Afghanistan .....NOT IRAQ!!!!

I for one believe 9/11 was an inside job to give the U.S. a reason to get into the Middle East!!!

People forget that Osama Bin Laden was a paid employee of the American government!!!

We supplied and trained him and his followers for years!!!
