Thinking of moving to Adelaide later in the year from Brisbane, I was wondering what suburbs are the best to live in ? Does anyone know what Mitchell park is like?
Thanks :)

I used to live in Adelaide.
Don't go to Port Adelaide, Salisbury, Elizabeth. area's they are all scummy area's.

Glenelg, is on the beach V Nice.
Unley, Goodwood's not bad.
Out of adelaide a wee bit is Selly's Beach, Aldinga.
*** If you use *google earth* on these suburbs it will show you surrounding suburbs and give you a great sense of direction when hunting for realestate on:

Many parts of Adelaide are delightful to live in. There are the suburbs stretching into the hills and the beaches. There are old suburbs like North Adelaide and villages like Gawler. There are many different areas. Why not look at the classified advertisements for houses in the Advertiser on a Saturday? http://www.theadvertiser.com.au The prices should give you some idea of the preferred suburbs.

It really depends on what you are after if you like the ocean then you should move to Glenelg. Inner City suburbs like Norwood, Mitchell Park and Unley are the trendy areas if you like that scene. If you like to live a bit out of town move to the Adelaide Hills only 30min drive to the city, you wouldn't believe the city is close by when you live there.

Now tell us all the truth did all that T.V advertising in QLD promoting Adelaide convince you to move! lol
