jay-z or nas. they can really rap well man. although nas is less commercially successful than jay-z, i'd have to say that he really rap magically i.e. one mic. jay-z also i.e. dead presidents 2

It depends if you want underground or mainstream rappers. I like Common personally, he's kind of an underground/mainstream rapper. You should check out Blue Scholars, they have a good myspace page. Murs is great. I like: People Under The Stairs, The Pharcyde, Gang Starr, Mos Def, Talib Kweli. Or, more mainstream rappers: Jay -Z, Kanye West, Ludacris. There are a lot of good rappers out there, but just as many if not more bad ones.
