I find that my son's bottle teats are all cloudy. I clean them really well in very hot water and usually microwave sterilise them, but since they went cloudy I've been soaking them in boiling water with a bit of detergent. It doesn't work though. I had the same problem with my daughter's when she was a baby, but when I soaked them they'd come out clear.

Anyone have any ideas why they do this and how I can fix it?

the teats are only a month old and are not damaged in any way.

IT IS NORMAL dont worry yourself. Only worry when it is broken or spilt or decaying

I have NO idea why they do this. My only guess is that, because of the material they're made of, they're susceptible to tiny scratches, which can make them look cloudy. They keep changing the material they make nipples out of...that may be why you could get the old ones to not have that problem.

I wouldn't worry about trying to fix it. If it really bothers you, just switch out the nipples every so often.

Hi, not sure how long you had them but we are suppose to throw them out after 3 months of use.

This happened to my sons teats too and then they started to split into particles. Then i thru them out.

I brought new ones and it stated on the box to throw them out as soon as they have a hole in them or after 3 months.

They wont wash off, i tried everything

Sorry never happened to me. Mine are still nice and clear. Maybe it is the detergent you are using?? I would replace them and get some more.
