Shula was great - but Walsh changed the way football is played.

I think it is dumb to say this coach is better then that coach. I mean how do we really know. The 49ers of the 80's were probably the greatest team to ever play the game of football, in any generation and in any league. Something has to be said about that, Walsh did put that together.

Bill Belichick, Bill Walsh is not because he had the best QB Joe Montana and the best receiver to play Jerry rice. Belichick almost any player he can make into a champion.

John Madden who has the best record for 100 games at least or Joe Gibbs who won 3 different super bowl wins with 3 different QB
pats coach is not the best, certainly good but hes had tom brady (the best QB) peyton also has 2 of the best WR's which is why they bearly won NFC campionship and won super bowl cause the rain made a disadvantage for rex grossman poor acc and power
