I know you mean in real life, but I had the scariest dream ever once!! A strange girl was drivin my car & stopped at this big house. There were lots of people inside sitting in rocking chairs that I didn't know. When it was time to leave, I couldn't find my kids so I started looking all around. There was a room in the basement with an incenerator in it w/ lots of black bags in the shape of a circle and one more in the middle, which I knew were my kids. When I tried to rip the bag open a man said "You need special scissors to open that" I grabbed the bags & ran to my car. I came to a street where you had to turn - one way was the way out - the other I was stuck there forever! I picked the wrong way & then woke up!! Weird!!!

Umm well I have lucid dreams (read link).
and i also have sleep paralysis ( linked).
both can be unpredictable and VERY scary..
Ill tell you one sleep paralysis experience that happened not to long ago..
It was raining and I never closed my blinds for some reason.
well my eyes opened and in my peripheral vision I see this figure in my window.. pith black and had red eyes.. just bright red.. its scratching my window.. did this for at least, well it seemed forever, but all at once i vanished and I could move again...
i look at the window and its raining with the he blinds open..
if you don't know what sleep Paralysis is, basically some scary hallucination is layered on top of your environment, in my case my bedroom.. You cant move and during the experience you don't know its not real.. so its very scary..
and to finally answer the question... My worst nightmare would be Zombies actually existing.. idk what it is but zombies wig me out.

The witch from Popeye comes to my bunk bed and bricks me in alive so I can't get out of my bed.
I think that was the only true nightmare I ever had.

When I was a little kid I used to dream that I was in the back seat of a car and I would look at the front seat and there was no driver.
