I think I understand. I love my boyfriend and I love my dog. To me I have always never wanted my dog to feel excluded from anything so saying no to sleeping on the bed has never been an option. My boyfriend thinks that the dog purposefully tries to sleep between us because he gets jealous or possessive. So at first I bought a different type of dog bed after dog bed hoping it would be the one to make him feel like he has his own bed and that didn't work. I wake up to the two of them having staring matches, meaning my boyfriend daring him to come up on the bed and the dog jumping up on my side knowing I won't do anything. Basically it is a test of wits. So I bought two new comforters (one for my dog) that we have on the bed, put a nice dog bed of his own on it next to my side and every time he jumps on the bed I put a dog treat (bully stick, bone, etc...) on his bed and coax him on his bed. I don' know if your like me, but I don't like others disciplining my dog. This actually worked for us. He got bored after a few weeks and now his dog bed is a habit and it was a positive experience. It just took a few weeks. I respect your love for your dogs and your other.

Train the dogs to sleep on the floor, they are dogs not people. Your husband has a right to sleep in bed with you. Buy a bigger bed.

You're complaining because your husband sleeps in the bed, but the dogs are okay? I hope you get fleas.

Excuse me, but if he's your husband, shouldn't you be talking about "our bed"?

What the hell is wrong with you prioritizing your dogs over your husband.
