What does it mean when your nipples are extremley sensitive?

I am a man and have had this problem for a while. They are sensitive to the touch and even hurt while running. Please help.

I am betting since you are a runner.
When you get hot and sweaty from running your shirt has irritated your nipples. You might try putting some triple antibiotic on them and see if that might help.
Other wise you should see your Doctor.
