But Walsh was great no one will argue that. But Shula still wears the Crown in my book.

You are the F---- Moron. How many super bowls did Bill Walsh win, and how many did don shula win? Who changed the entire NFL with the west coast offense? Who, made great players out of Jerry Rice, and Joe Montana, who everybody thought would be busts? Bill Walsh did. Not only was he a coach, he was the great scout, evaluator, and person.

Madden made it to 2 Super Bowls and won one but to be honest it would be hard not to include Joe Gibbs. During Gibbs' tenure the 'Skins made 4 Super Bowls while winning 3 and the 3 wins were with 3 different QB's who were hardly Hall of Fame material. I mean, Theisman was pretty decent but Doug Williams and Mark Rypien are hardly top ranked QB's. Not to mention that the 'Skins were competitive during the Gibbs years.

Walsh was great an inovative but he had a superb team around him. That team was so good that they won a SB under Seifert.

Everyone is just saying Bill Walsh because he died. He was a good coach, but not the best. Madden was the best by far.
