Look in your owners manual or contact the dealer where you bought it.

Some where in the cars manual it tells U how often or when U need to get an oil change. It is generally every 3 months or so many kilometres. Depends on make of car. Do not wait till the light comes on. U will have more problems if U do that.

Typically, every three thousand miles is more than often enough. You can push it to five thousand miles, then make sure you get into the local shop and get that oil changed, you got a ways to go with under 1000 miles on it so relax, you're fine for a while.

It'll say in the owner's manual. Some new cars don't need an oil change until 10K, but I don't know about Cobalts specifically. Really dude... read the manual.

You should make sure you get the oil and filter changed every 3000 miles or every three months. The air filter should be checked at that time as well. Enjoy your new car.

Check your owners manual. As a rule of thumb, its a good idea to change your oil every 3000 miles.

On a new car you should get a free service at 1000 miles. This should involve oil and filter change and any minor adjustments that are required. At this service the head should be retensioned and a thorough check for any loose nuts or bolts.
