Washing your vaginal area is very important and you ARE in fact supposed to use soap. Try to make sure that the soap you are using is gentle non-coloured and non-perfumed otherwise it could irritate the area (I would suggest Dove for sensitive skin). What you have sounds like a Urinary tract infection or a UTI. These are extemely common amoung women and they can cause extreme burning and disconfort during urination. A good natural remedy for this is drinking a big glass of cranberry juice, or if you don't have any, drink two large glasses of water every couple hours. If it doesnt go away then it may be time to see a doctor.

You are not supposed to put soap down there. It will sting and sometimes especially with perfumed soaps, you could get infection. Plain water is sufficient.

if it continues to burn when you pee, and feels like you always have to go even when you go nothing happens then you need to see a doctor, you could have an infection called urinary track infection. a very common thing in females. its best just to just use water to clean and not use soap in that area.

the soap u used might have a lot of scents in it. u might be really sensitive and i recommend you buy dove bar soap unscented or for sensitive skin to solve the problem...if not then u could always be having that burning sensation until u stop using that soap...
