Very good choice, you did your betta a big favor by upgrading his space
They love to have space, and what I also saw on mine was that he loves live plants, they love to rest on them

there is an outstanding risk your betta is loss of life i'm sorry to assert, although this is no longer from lacking some days of nutrition, that's for confident. You did no longer supply any info with regard to the form you're conserving him so this is quite impossible to comprehend whats incorrect for confident, yet i might guess his water is in basic terms too grimy. substitute some million/2 the water in the bowl with sparkling, declorinated faucet water, make confident this is no longer too warm or too chilly for the fish (seventy 5 - 80 5 is nice). To be ordinary, i think of he would be the two greater powerful or ineffective interior of a few hours. If he seems o perk up from the water substitute, be waiting to alter a million/2 lower back in the morning and lower back in the night to get the water wiped sparkling up. From then very own substitute all of it the different day to maintain it sparkling. additionally keep in mind, bettas slightly and function a tiny abdomen, don;t supply too lots nutrition it quite fouls the water speedy. ultimate of success!

I have had over 5 Betta fish and I bet the fish is glad to have more room and just want to take full advantage of it. Betta fish don't live a long time, but if you treat your fish with tender loving care it can live up to 4 years or longer.

He might just be excited. I had a beta for years growing up and I remember they did better in smaller bowls. I'd check with a pet store to be certain, but that might be too much for him. I can tell you I had a beta in a small glass bowl with no filter and he lived for over 5 years. He probably would have lived longer but we had a "water changing accident" and he took a cruise down the drain...oops.

Hmm..
He might be a little shocked that his home just got bigger!
But if the water was about the same temperature.. he shoudln't be in actual shock.
Just let him adjust to his new surroundings and he should be fine.
Enjoy him :]
