a friend is throwing a formal party for her 18th birthday (debut).. must i only wear a long gown?
i was planning to wear a knee (or a little above the knee) length black and white dress with black pumps..
is that formal enough? if it is, what other accesories must i wear along with it?

It depends the design.

Like, don`t show up to a formal party wearing a short dress that a hooker would wear. For example, don't model after Britany Spears.

Try:♥ A nice medium, short, or even long length.
Make sure the material and design is nice, for instance, a nice, elegant design, or just plain color with a little ruffle is nice. Jazz it up with some jewelry!

The best thing to do is: ♥ Wear your knee-length black and white dress with black pumps, I think that'd be formal enough. It sounds gorgeous! Hope I helped!

[Best answer!] lol. Nah ,it's fine! ♥

Yes that sound formal enough. Formal doesn't exactly have to be a long flowing dress. Maybe you should wear some pearls with the black dress. It'll make you look a bit more classy and elegant for a formal party :]

Perhaps a dress similar to that. Depending on where y'all are going.

in case you % to look taller and skinnier i % to propose an entire length gown, it in basic terms brings something to income with and the size of cloth make you look taller. For you i might propose the colour purple, and you will tremendously a lot get any form which you like. i might propose finding online and searching a variety of gown you come across captivating and going to a pair shops and attempting it on.

A DEBUT is formal.
FORMAL means a long gown. [ tux for guys ].
Sorry! [ Save the short dress for New Years ]
DON'T wear white to someone else's debutante ball, either.
