You got that wrong. Pyramids did not compete in the seven wonders. It was already named as one of the wonders and the poll was only for the other 6. That's because Pyramids is the only existing wonder from the ancient world, and thus got the status

The Pyramids are the only wonders left from all the other old wonders , and that's why they didn't choose them as one of the unofficial NEW seven wonders in 7/7/2007 , or at lesat that's what they said !!

there are several different lists of the seven wonders of the world. You might have seen a more recent list. I do believe the pyramids are on an older list.

I don't know why didn't they in the recent list?
but all the world know they are great and it was difficult to build them in the old days without a modern instruments.they show how our ancestors were very smart and clever.Don't be sad

bec they r above the competition.these new wonders cant compete with the pyramids.and bec the egyptian goverment didnt aprove of it being voted on bec this is a nonofficial voting

pyramids is too old, so they are listed in the old wonders, now there are new wonders
