I made this mistake recently. First try ways to find out how the other person feels first before you tell them. Otherwise, if you tell them and they are not interested, you might chase them away and you will regret for life for you will lose your chance of ever being close to them again. Worst, I mean worst, if they go round spreading , its so embarrassing. Thats what I have been through and still sufferring the consequences. We have been close for 6 years .

If you have a crush on a guy, chances are he already knows it. I'm sure you have flirted with him and he is either amused/thrilled or irritated. Take your cue from that.
If you must, just tell him you have a crush on him.
"Can you tell I have a crush on you?"

thats a problem that i have alot. well i guess you might try writing a song or poem and sing or tell it to them, you could write them a note and give it to them, you could do it the stupid way and tell a friend to tell them (tried that once it don't work out too good), or you could do it the old fashioned way and just strait out tell them "hey I like you)" they all work out good except the third one!

Write it down on a paper and put in a place where they can see it. this way you don't have to face them while they are discovering the truth about you. By the time they meet you they will have calmed down a little bit.
