I've only been to three of them, but Kauai was a favorite. They don't call it the Garden Isle for nothing. The Na Pali Coast is one of the most spectacular places I've ever seen in my life, and Waimea Canyon isn't far behind. The rest of the island, with its rain forests and gardens, is great too.

I am a travel consultant and I would have to say that I book both Maui and Oahu the most.
Honestly, all 4 of the major islands are just as beautiful as the other. They all have their own characteristic really.
Kauai is known as the Garden Island. It rains a lot. But it is absolutely beautiful. My best friend got married on Kauai. Very romantic island.
The Big Island is great if you are very active and want to explore the island. The Big Island is known for Kilauea.
The active volcano. Awesome!!
Oahu is known for Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor/Arizona Memorial. And probably the cheapest to visit.
Maui is laid back and probably the most booked by my office.
I have never been there but like I said before, Maui and Oahu are the most booked.....
I hope this helps....
Enjoy yourself if you go!!
I just thought of one more thing...
If you want to get a taste of all 4 islands take the 7 day cruise out of Honolulu with Norwegian Cruiseline.
In fact, email me if you need help with rates.

It depends on what you like. Maui has great beaches and the best weather. Kauai is lush and beautiful, but it rains everyday. I like Oahu because I live in a small town and enjoy the fast past of Waikiki. I haven't been to any of the others.
