Would you rather go North for a week of Skiing or Ridding or south for a week on the beach?

me, i'd kill a small-medium sized animal to be able to ski. I hate heat. Yet it seems everybody i know wants nothing more thatn to go south, wehere it's even hotter, to sit out in the hot sun, genreate skin cancer, and get attacked by sharks.
