I've been watching Big Love on HBO for the past two seasons and I like the idea of having multiple spouses. I brought it up to my wife and she doesn't like the idea. It's not like I want a second wife, I want to give her a second husband. There's just so much to do around the house and I don't have 36 hours in a day.
What's the best way to convince my wife that having a second husband is good for our family?

You can explain it in such a way that it makes sense logically. Really, polygamy can be quite beneficial to both men and women, but if she's emotionally stuck on the idea of a monogamous marriage, then she's never going to agree.
If you just want some guy to do your housework, hire someone.
