All the way through pregnancy I have had a pretty soft stomach but just today it seems like it is hard as rock, I am 38 weeks does this mean that I will deliver soon??

It probably means that your baby had a little growth spurt and so now it's a tighter fit.

the baby puts on most of his weight in the last month or so putting on like a pound a week! So your baby just seems like he is growing right on target it doesnt necessarily mean that you are ready to deliver right soon. But 38 weeks it wont be long now.... CONGRATS

I am 38 weeks and my stomach as been tight for 3 weeks now. I don't think that is what it means. Just means the baby is getting bigger, but you never know...a baby is going to come when they want to come!!

It takes 9 months for a baby, your skin is tighter because your getting fatter.

mine got pretty tight around the same time too, but i still didn't deliver until 9 days after my due date...increase your sexual activity and get that kid to pop out of there!! :) not trying to be nasty, but that's what works!

it might mean its on his or her way. just dont get your hopes up.i kept thinking for 2 weeks straight about my son being born and it seemed like it took forever to happen. good luck!!
