OK so here it is. I got fable and tryed to play it. (best game ever) And realized that vista is a fun nazi and wont let it run without bugging it to hell. That and ive had to many problems already with vista. To make it even better I had to format recently and now microsoft tells me i Need to buy a new key because i cant keep reformating the same system with the same key (B.S.)

I have a old sager computer thats busted to hell. Which has a XP home key, So my question is can i find an ISO or download of the Microsoft windows so that i can use my cd key from the old cpu on this one. I lost my old XP cd and need it asap.

You could always go with Linux (eg Ubuntu) and Cedega http://www.transgaming.com/

you are running up the river without a paddle aren't you.. why Ms said that you can't keep formating and reinstalling XP is not B.S to them, they are stopping supporting XP and are forcing users to move to the bug ridden Vista.. so they can make big bucks...

now what alternative have you got here..
(1) buy a new hard drive,
(so you have an excuse to reinstall XP)
(2) buy another copy of XP
(3) stay with your Vista
(4) dump window altogether
(5) do yourself a big favor and move to Linux

I know you don't understand that linux is far more Superior than windows Vista. So now is your chance to see just what linux can do, if vista could do half of what linux can do then Vista it would be a half decent operating system (without all the bugs of course),

what are the benefits you have moving to Linux,
(1) It's free to download
(2) runs off the Cd for you to learn it before installing
(3) All the software is free. including games
(4) world wide support
(5) free updates

check out linux Dell, HP, Compaq, Acer, are now pre-installing linux, through the problems they are having with Vista.

You need the CD and key. It`s a matched set. Best thing to do is order the operating system CD from the manufacture . you can pull up the cd key off your sager with " rockxp". Also change the key with it. Hint
