go online and look at the major ones like capital one or chase...they will list different credit cards that might meet your need, like they have ones for students, ones with no credit history, ones for people who want travel rewards...etc...and then you can apply online and try it out and see if they approve you. The first credit card I ever got was when i was in college and it was a capital one card for students...but there is usually something for everyone.
