It's ok if you're not seen exactly at 1 month intervals. That's just a general timeframe to follow. Sometimes, if your doc or midwife is not available or don't take patients that day it might explain why your next appointment is scheduled a week later.

Later in your pregnancy you will have appointments every week.

I would agree with your doctor's recommendations about milk powder. And if you are small in height and weight that is probably just normal for your body type. Mothers come in all sizes!

Until you hit your 3rd trimester once a month visit is normal, they may even go 45 days. In your 3rd trimester you will go once every 2 weeks. Im not sure what you mean with the milk powder but if your doctor says dont do something dont, until you can get clearer advice on what and why.

Good Luck

usually doctors have you seen every month or even 2 untill you are 7-1/2 months... then usually 2-3 weeks after that.... then every week during your last month.,..

I dont understand the whole milk thing.... maybe he is worried about you giving a milk alergy to the baby... I have no clue. some doctors are weird, but there is usually a a method to the madness....

Good luck, and congrats!

Some countries even in the last trimester don't have you go to the doctor every week. I am 36 weeks and have only been going every month throughout my pregnancy. As long as you don't notice anything that may warrant you going more than monthly I wouldn't worry about it.

I saw a doctor every 4 to 6 weeks until my third tri-mester. Than I started going every 2 weeks until I was 35 weeks. Than I went weekly.

Is English your first language? You will see the doctor once a month until almost the very end of your pregnancy. Then you will go every week (maybe every 2 weeks a little earlier). They can't schedule you EXACTLY one month apart. I am sure that August 15th was the closest date they had available.

About every month is correct until about the 8th month. I am 22 weeks and go every 4 weeks or so.

I think you go every month until you reach about 28 weeks, then you go every 2 weeks. At 36 weeks, you start going every week. I'm sure each office is different, but that is how it goes at my office.
