Falling in love is influenced by many things over the course of one's life. When we are young hormones greatly influence desire, but they are not the only consideration. If a choice isn't conscious, or subconscious does that mean it is fate? That would be an easy scapegoat for our bad choices.

Falling in love is being overwhelmingly attracted to someone...or something. The mind absorbs more force from positive vibrations. Everything becomes a figure almost perfect that whatever imperfections there are blur into disregard. It's a MAGICAL TOUR that can't be withheld or stopped at its peak speed. It undermines everything that is negatively true...because the desire of the heart is met with exaltation.
However, just as how fast you fall in love,..that's just how fast you may fall out of it...And why? Because falling in love is a temporary episode in the course of love. It's just a starter so as to say...into something that goes beyond mere attraction. Once you hit that bottom...!bang!*, You come to see defects, imperfections, short comings, differences, all of which are enough to bring a change of heart *IF* your falling hasn't blossomed into a deeper, more lasting relationship called LOVE. Finally you realize there's more to love than just falling into it.

Falling in love has to be a subconscious decision because it is developed with time ('falling' in love). And it take time because our subconscious choice must slow it down, otherwise we would already be in love from the very beginning.

definately a subconscious decision. The mind is baffling. Noone really understands the mind. we do know what we like, and what we are attracted to some times surprises us. The real question is how long does it take to fall in love. Once we are able to answer that, then we will be able to answer your question.

i don't think of falling in love is a call. It merely happens!! often whilst we least anticipate it. I recommend think of approximately it, why do many human beings have hassle leaving cheating companions? or maybe abusive companions? Its because of the fact once you like somebody, its not that straightforward to basically walk faraway from that guy or woman because of the fact once you like somebody you have an emotional connection with them. And emotional connections can not basically be broken merely like that. And definitely everybody who has been in love would be conscious of this.

Everything is choice. Mostly based on illusion in this world until one come to highest level of knowledge we can not transcend this Maya (illusion) It is not actually love, but a perverted reflection of the actual love which is Absolute. When one is under the spell of the illusory love is perverted into lust. (lust meaning for ones sense gratification.) Actual love is completely selfless and in relationship with the Creator. (seeing everything in relationship with creator), also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. There is no real love in the material consciousness. One must learn the process of Bhakti Yoga to understand actual Love and transcend this illusory energy. for info Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta PRabhupada- tells all. asitis.com You can read it on line.

With my boyfriend, love was something I chose and built up with time from the moment I met him, I welcome and grew that emotion as we grew in each other.
Then with an older guy who was like a teacher in my life this past fall...it just hit me like bricks and the emotions I couldn't control. Trust me, I didn't want to love him, I tried choosing not to, but everytime he looked me in the eyes I was taken aback. I still have dreams about him and it was during the school year! Isn't that sad? i've tried rationalizing myself out of it and everything, but the feeling in my heart remains. It's the one experience that has taught me love is not always chosen. He's married now. thank god or I might have gone after him!

Falling in love with someone is not advisable. The one who falls usually is the one who gets hurt. Two people falling in love with one another is advisable. Perhaps it is like the mating ritual of two birds of prey. They soar to their highest heights, then unite & then they fall freely, copulating all the way down.

There is no such thing as 'love'. It's a chemical reaction in the brain to ensure the continued survival of the species.
