Lakers will make the playoffs they will be the 6th 7th or 8th seed..but they wont past the 1st round, but if the Lakers need to get somebody that will help Kobe put this team over the hump. If they do then they can probably past the 1st round.

Clippers....they will be fighting for the 8th seed with the Hornets and Sonics

Knicks.... Yes, the East is very weak, New York will probably be the 7th or 8th seed.

lakers no because they really havent done anything in the offseason. their draft wasnt that great because they drafted 3 project players. gasol and yue arent even slotted to come over to the usa yet. crittenton has major potential but he wont have a big impact right away. so its still kobe and thats it. the west has improved and teams like NO, Portland, and Memphis (dont laugh) are dangerous. dont forget, memphis when healthy was a 50 win team a couple years ago. with gay, conley, miller, and gasol thats a scary team.
clippers have a better chance than the lakers but they will also fall short. aside from brand and maggette, there really isnt anything. cassell is old, and livingston is still in rehab. thornton is just a rookie and he has really bad shot selection and relies to much on athletecism.
NY has a chance. the east is still a crap shoot other than chicago, cleveland, miami, detroit. if KG goes to boston than it makes things harder for NY. but with the talent they have now, i think theyre good enough in the east. curry and zach are both 20 ppg scorers. the east dont have great PFs and teams will face one of them or both of them on the court throughout the game. marbury is a good PG, crawford is a good SG, lee is a good PF. i think the knicks can contend.

The Lakers and Knicks, no way. I don't even know the moves they need to make to get better at this point.

The Clippers do have a chance.

Lakers, I hope not, then Kobe will have a reason to leave besides, "I don't have anyone to help me."

Clippers, no, they need another star, they can afford to pull of a trade that will shock the NBA.

Knicks, neutral, Zach Randolph.

I would say that they arent gonna this year. For one there is no one on the team that is decent besides Kobe and plus they jus suck.

Knicks i would say arent gonna make it.

And Clippers i dont think will.
