The unthankful heart discovers no mercies, but let the thankful heart sweep through the day, and as the magnet finds the iron, so will it find, in every hours, some heavenly blessings.
Why is it not possible for the unthankful heart to find the blessings?

Because he is "unthankful", he will never experience the joy of having received something. It is not that he hasn't been given anything...as the sun shines fairly on all- good or bad, young or old, just or unlawful...It is because he chooses to ignore any gift or blessing that comes to him. In this way, his mind is fixed on the absurdity that there's nothing to be thankful of because he rejects all that which have been given from above.

Hi love is sweet,
It's hard for an "unthankful heart" to find blessings. Not impossible. You know why? Because a lot of times, the blessings are already there but this "unthankful heart's" expectation is so high that he failed to interpret it as a blessing. The "unthankful" types are those people that are so difficult to please, so hard to be contented..Thus happiness and blessings are so elusive & far out of their reach. Blessings depend on the people's perspective. I might give the same amount of money to 2 different people. The 1st one might be thankful, thus in his book it's a "blessing". The 2nd one might find the amount not to his liking & complains, thus instead of a "blessing", he felt "offended" instead for receiving so small an amount..Parent#1's child was 2nd honor in class & felt "blessed"..Parent#2's child also got a 2nd honor, but felt cheated out, he was expecting # 1, thus for him being #2 is a "defeat". U get what i mean?

My first question is what is heavenly? Heavenly can be anything, it all depends on who you are. Dommer thought *** was heavenly, litterally! What if you are an athias? Then you don't believe in heavenly blessings. In order to recieve heavenly blessings, you must believe in a heaven. So lets assume that this is the case. An unthankful heart will not find blessings because it is not following Gods rule. He is the only one who gives the blessing. You get what you put in.

It's not impossible, it just takes a little longer to get to the store by turning left instead of right and going around the world. I know it works but I hope others can learn from my experience. You can p1 and p2 your way around the world or just go next door and borrow a cup of sugar. Common sense is not dead, it's only been decapitated with nonsense from neo-Nazis left and right.

Because gratitude pleases the Creator (God) also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. If you are grateful to Him for what he has given you then He will be happy to give more. If you are ungrateful He doesn't feel so obliged. Imagine if it where yo doing the giving. If someone was ungrateful to you for your gifts you don't feel like giving them more. But a person who is so grateful and thanks you very nicely, you feel like giving them more and more. Simple for the simple at heart.

Well if those are your religious beliefs, I think you've already answered your own question. Just use whatever interpretation of the bible suits your beliefs.

Is not that the purpose of giving by the giver? To please the one receiving, rather than give to one who would not want it or be thankful for.
