Not usually. If it already looks like you have a pooch or your stomach looks a little distended then it's most likely due to bloating or gas or gaining water weight. The baby is so tiny (the size of a lima bean) that there's no way it would be making your tummy stick out.

Some women start to show earlier if they've had a baby before, but still not as early as 1 month. The only way it could be the baby is if there were multiples in there (twins, triplets, etc.)

I am 5 weeks pregnant right now and my stomach is kind of sticking out but I know it's because of bloating.

No.

At 1 month your uterus is still down in the pelvis, well protected while the baby is still very vulnerable.

The uterus doesn't start to peep out from the top of the pelvis until about the 12 week mark when you can feel it as a hard bump right above the pubic bone (unless you're overweight, in which case that may make it difficult to feel).

If your tummy is larger than normal at 1 month it's because your digestive system is a bit bloated. This is normal the extra progesterone in your system plays havoc with your gastro-intestinat tract causing the food and waste passing through your system to slow down and store up a bit. Make sure you eat the right amount of fiber and drink water so you don't get consipated. You may want to try taking a glass of Metamucil every morning to help move things along.

No they don't, but some people that have been sucking in their tummies for several months until they got pregnant suddenly let go as soon as they see the little blue lines. You really don't show until after the third month, most times it's the 5 month.

Yes, if they're using pregnancy as an excuse to eat whatever they want whenever they want.

But most women don't start showing until somewhere between 2 and 4 months, although it varies widely.

Simply, no...

Your baby isnt even bigger than a peanut... so the answer is that is would be very hard to believe someone could show at one month. 5-7 months is the usual time... i was skinny as a board untill one day in my 7th month, I exloded! the pictures are funny... it literally happened over 2 nights...

Good luck!

No. I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was 7 weeks! The baby is the size of a tic-tac at 4 weeks!

Sometimes if you are carrying multiples. More than likely it's just bloating. That definitely happens at 1 month.
