Demi was hot and Patrick was dead. Oh, and Whoopi was funny, which is really weird, because generally Whoopi is never funny in her movies.

That scene with the clay wheel and all that oozy mud squishing between Demi's and Patrick's hands as they pressed their sweaty bodies against each other and made that phallic "pottery" still makes me turn over at night sometimes and heave a big, hot sigh.

Wasn't an atheist yet when I saw it. Even now I think it was a good love story. Kind of like not even death could stop him from protecting her.

I believe that atheists don't get as zealous about someone saying there is a God as christians get when someone says there isn't a God or don't want to pray and practice your religion.
