When ur 17 weeks pregnant?how many months r u?

ok im an now 17 weeks pregnant and thought that converted into months would be 4 months and 1 week.....now someone told me when ur 17 weeks pregnant that means ur now 5 months...im very confused??????help???

Here's why I think people would say that: If you are past 16 weeks then you are not in your 4th month any more - you are past it. So you say you are 5 months pregnant or "in your 5th month."

When you are pregnant every 4 weeks is considered 1 month. 17 weeks pregnant should be 4 months and 1 week pregnant. You will be 5 months when you are 20 weeks. You are actually pregnant through the 9th month so your due date is the day of the 10th month.

well you are actually pregnant for 10 months .17 weeks counting would mean you are 4 months and one week that your actually on 5 you are not 5 months yet

I am 17 weeks too and had the same question yesterday. We are 4 months and one week. so we've been pregnant for 4 months and one week but that puts us on our 5th month of pregnancy. it's confusing huh.. lol
