Malta a small nation island in the mediterranean.. is rich in history (has the oldest human made constructions on earth) sun,sand and sea,nightlife,unique culture,delicious food,all the locals speak english ..and if you would like to visit italy/tunisia once ur in Malta you're just 35/40min away with a flight! There are also many low-cost airlines that operate to Malta especially from the UK!

well, first of all, a round trip plane ticket to europe and back is costly, can be anywhere from $700 and up. so, basically to travel anywhere besides the US is costly just including the ticket.

Spain - its very enriched with history and culture and if u call up some agencies and check around online u can airfare and hotel costs for cheaper than other european cities.

Any place can be cheap..... if your young then you can stay at any hostel for just a few pounds. Great deal and they are pretty nice.
